Four Dirty Boys Soap

Good October everyone! It has been awhile since I have sat here to write to you all about something or another. Have you all been enjoying the cooler weather? If you are from the South like me I bet you are. I know many that love the summer but Fall is my happy time. My kids agree with me on this one ;)

Today, I am introducing you to another amazing business and its owner. Teresa makes natural handmade soap. She has a big family of boys to keep clean! What better way to do that than by doing it the healthy and non-toxic way? From what I have learned so far by my own research, it isn't simple work....but highly rewarding. Keeping her family healthy, happy and clean :) All while running a family owned business. I am truly in awe of her and what she has accomplished.

I have ordered her soap and tried many great scents. My absolute favorites are Sweet Orange Chili Pepper and Spearmint. Each soap has an amazing and long lasting smell. This is because she uses essential oils! The soap lasts quite a long time in my shower and I have three girls. This is a huge plus for my family. I would also like to add that some handmade soaps that I have tried in the past did not soap up well or the scent just didn't last long. Not with Four Dirty Boys Soap! Apply once to a wash cloth or loofah and you are good to go!

Miss Teresa sells her soap online, at Farmers markets and at her local Macomb Food Co-op in La Harpe, Illinois. Be sure to check out the info at the end of this review so you know where to order and how to contact Teresa!

Four Dirty Boys Soap's Five best sellers are Sweet Orange Chili Pepper, Lilac, Golfers Soap, Lemongrass and Spearmint.

LILAC
"Why is it called golfer's soap"? is a question I hear almost every time I am at the markets or craft fairs.
"I created this soap with my brother in mind. He is an avid golfer and often comes in HOT and sunburned. This soap starts with coconut milk in the base and to it I add NOW Brand peppermint essential oil. The coconut milk soothes while the peppermint gives a nice cool tingle. The perfect summertime soap for anyone who spends time outdoors!"
SWEET ORANGE CHILI PEPPER "Colors may vary but the amazing aroma is always the same. This fragrance is sassy, saucy combination of Valencia Orange, Sparkling Bergamot, Tangerine Zest, Tart Cassis, Orange Juice, Neroli, Ground Pepper, Fiery Chili Pepper, and Sheer Musk. Created with saponified oils of coconut, lard, canola, avocado and castor as well as creamy goat milk and yogurt, for a luxurious bathing experience."
Those are just a few I wanted to show you. As you can see, a lot goes into making handmade/handcrafted soap!
