My photo
My name is Jessica but you can call me Jess if you'd like. I am 32 years old, younger at heart, artistic, crafty and I am a down to earth woman who wears her heart on her sleeve. I am also a Mother of 5 beautiful children, from 9 months up to 12 years old. I love being a Mom. I am married to the love of my life; almost 13 years now. It has been a long hard road with many wonderful memories in between. The last 13 years has truly been full of learning for me. As hard as life has been, I wouldn't trade any of it because I would miss out on all the beautiful moments I got to experience with my family.

Mommy Of 5!

First I want to warn you that I am really new at blogging. It has taken me like a week to write my introduction and 2 days to post it. And do not get me started on the title! ugh! I like to be different and creative. That is hard these days because so many people are blogging and writing in the world of the internet. I am usually in the Facebook world sharing and posting my cuties. This is very new to me and I am nervous and excited to introduce myself to more strangers :b

So here goes. I usually introduce myself with, "Hi, my name is Alyne. I am a mommy of 4..." As soon as I say that I ask myself if that is all I truly am. Am I really just a mommy now? Later it will be just mom but I am sure that I will miss it when they grow up. Oh crap, when they grow up!? Who will I be when they are grown? But no I am not just a mommy. I have interests and I have dreams.

Hopefully one day, sooner than later I might add, I will find myself again. For now, I will help my children search and discover who they are. Usually, being a mom is quite enough. There are just those days when I reminisce the freedoms that motherhood does not allow me to have. I am not even sure what those freedoms were anymore. Oh, wait! Listening to inappropriate music or taking a shower in peace. Those are just a couple that I once had. It is okay though, because those aren't very important anymore.

Back to introducing myself. My name is Alyne. I am a rock star mommy of 4 wonderful, funny and intelligent children. I have been married to my love for 10 years, which feel like 20...haha. We have been through the good, the bad and everywhere in between. I wouldn't trade him for concert tickets and beer! Well because I don't like beer :) We live in the Peach state. Beautiful North Georgia in all its greenery, rainery (trying to rhyme here) and humidity.

Georgia has been home to me for 15 years now. We live in a small town that has grown so much since I was 13. I am grateful for my mother moving us here. My husband, (yes I will most likely mention him a lot :) was born and raised here, as well as our four children. I was born in Southern California. No I did not surf, never learned. I was always brown as a grizzly bear though. I think that is one thing I miss. Now I am miss pasty -_-

Anyway, I am wandering here. The most important thing to me right now is my children's education. Yes, we homeschool! Very proud of this because two years ago when I made this huge decision I was utterly nervous! It has been so fun, frustrating and a pure surprise. I have re-learned things and so have they. We have cried, screamed and laughed but it has been so worth it.

I will be sharing and talking to you about my life, family and my interests. Hopefully each post will be better than the last and a little laughter wouldn't hurt. If you have any suggestions, advice, ideas or questions you'd like to share please leave a comment. Have a great weekend <3

We are in the middle of July and it is very hot here in Georgia. The older I have become the less I admire the fun summertime. It isn't so much fun anymore. No longer can I stay cool by running around in my cute childish swimsuit. It is okay though, I am very blessed to have air conditioning so I will try not to complain too much. I hope your summer vacation has been a fun and comfortable one. As for me, I am patiently waiting for Fall.
Today's blog post is all about Ruby Ribbon's Shapewear. I was sent The Original Tank Cami in leopard print to try out.

Thieves Laundry Soap by Young Living Oils

**This post contains affiliate links. This is no cost to you. Thank you.**

Good Monday everyone! Can you believe I am writing another blog post so soon? Haha yes! After weeks of feeling in no mood to write or anything for that matter, here I am sharing another great review with you. It is true that so far I have not had one bad product experience that I have wrote for you. I would think that is an amazingly great thing. I just want you to know that each review and post I make is my complete and honest opinion.
Today I want to tell you about my experience with Young Livings Thieves Laundry Soap. First of all, I love essential oils, making my own laundry soap and anything that is safest to use for my family. You probably know that by now but in case you do not I wanted to make that clear in my review. When I make my own laundry soap I do add lavender EO for the nice fresh scent.

First, I noticed that I did not have to use much soap for a medium sized load of clothes. It is a small cap as i…

DIY Paint for Kids

**This post contains affiliate links. This is at no cost to you. Thank you.**

I stumbled upon a really cool homemade paint recipe.....
You see, my kids love to paint so much that it was starting to get expensive. Acrylics, watercolors, the list goes on. Young kids don't usually care about they type of paint. They just want to have fun and be creative!
So like I said I stumbled upon this great, simple and cheap paint recipe. With ingredients you most likely have in your kitchen. Can't get any better than that ;)

Check below for this simple recipe....
Here is what you need:
1 Cup Salt 1 Cup Flour 1 Cup Water Food coloring Jars are squeeze bottles.
That is it! You mix those well together and you have paint! I made four batches so the kids could have four colors! Fun to make and fun for the kids to use :)

Preparing to mix...

Once you have all the colors prepared just pour into jars or squeeze bottles. Really, you can use just about anything to store it in.

Natural Health: Oxylent Supplements

I am always trying to find the best vitamins for my kids. It is important to me to give them something that will help their growing bodies and immune system. Most vitamins sold at stores like Wal-Mart are full of synthetic ingredients. One has to really pay attention to the ingredients list, even if it does say Natural. I have an eight month old, and although he doesn't need vitamins because I breastfeed, I need them very much!

Breastfeeding takes a lot from a Mother. She needs all the nutrients and vitamins that she can get. If she doesn't then it all goes to baby, leaving her with nothing. Let's face it, Mom needs to take care of herself too! I have recently discovered a natural vitamin supplement for the whole family. This is not your everyday vitamin. It is a vitamin powder that you add to your water. Shake and drink!
A company called Vitalah and founder Lisa Lent created an amazing health and nutritional supplement. I was sent to review a few from their Oxylent line. I…

Four Dirty Boys Soap

**This post contains affiliate links. This is at no cost to you. Thank you.**

Good October everyone! It has been awhile since I have sat here to write to you all about something or another. Have you all been enjoying the cooler weather? If you are from the South like me I bet you are. I know many that love the summer but Fall is my happy time. My kids agree with me on this one ;)

Today, I am introducing you to another amazing business and its owner. Teresa makes natural handmade soap. She has a big family of boys to keep clean! What better way to do that than by doing it the healthy and non-toxic way? From what I have learned so far by my own research, it isn't simple work....but highly rewarding. Keeping her family healthy, happy and clean :) All while running a family owned business. I am truly in awe of her and what she has accomplished.

I have ordered her soap and tried many great scents. My absolute favorites are Sweet Orange Chili Pepper and Spearmint. Each soap has an amazing …
